Hello Explorer Launches in Sri Lanka and Hosts First HBE Networking Event & Expo Presentation at Havelock City Mall
𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗺𝗯𝗼, 𝗦𝗿𝗶 𝗟𝗮𝗻𝗸𝗮 — 𝗢𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟵, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱
In less than two weeks after arriving in Sri Lanka, Hello Explorer, the global travel and lifestyle platform, successfully hosted its first-ever HBE (Hello Business Explorer) Networking Event & Expo Presentation at Main Sports Bar, Havelock City Mall in Colombo.
The event brought together more than 40 local companies and business leaders for a morning of connection, collaboration, and opportunity. The Hello Explorer team presented the brand’s mission to bridge local businesses and international travelers, introducing Sri Lanka to the next stage of its global expansion.
𝗔 𝗚𝗟𝗢𝗕𝗔𝗟 𝗣𝗟𝗔𝗧𝗙𝗢𝗥𝗠 𝗙𝗢𝗥 𝗟𝗢𝗖𝗔𝗟 𝗗𝗜𝗦𝗖𝗢𝗩𝗘𝗥𝗬
During the presentation, attendees were introduced to the Hello Explorer App — an innovative digital guide designed to showcase each destination’s best places, experiences, and local deals.The app already operates successfully across Thailand and is now expanding into Sri Lanka, with upcoming launches planned in Malaysia, Dubai, and other key destinations worldwide.
The event also unveiled details of the upcoming Hello Sri Lanka Explorer Expo & Festival, scheduled for Sunday, 9 November 2025, at Havelock City Mall. The one-day celebration will feature travel, tourism, culture, and entertainment, officially marking the Hello Explorer App’s launch in Sri Lanka.

Businesses that attended this first HBE event received exclusive early access to be listed in the Hello Explorer App and the opportunity to book early bird stalls for the upcoming Expo & Festival.
This unique access positions early participants as founding partners in Hello Explorer’s Sri Lankan journey — gaining early visibility across the app and the brand’s international marketing channels.

The HBE event created a dynamic space for entrepreneurs, hoteliers, tourism professionals, and creative thinkers to exchange ideas, collaborate, and discuss how Sri Lanka can shine on the global stage.

Following the success of this first event, Hello Explorer announced the next HBE networking meetup — a casual “Business & Beer” After Work session on 22 October, designed to strengthen local partnerships and provide another opportunity to book exhibition spaces for the November Expo.
