Mae Haad Beach is the main port town beach on Koh Tao, stretching north and south of the main piers for about 800 meters. Despite being near the busy ferry docks, the beach itself is surprisingly quiet and offers a pleasant spot for relaxation. The water is clean, and the beach is wider on the south side, offering more space for sunbathing and activities​
